Elephant Rock is run by Roker Shelter Ltd, Marine Walk, Roker, Sunderland SR6 0PL. This page explains what we do with your details when you book a table with us.
What we collect
When you book, we take your name, email address, phone number, party size, booking time and any notes you add. If a deposit is needed, your card payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Why
We use your details to hold your table, send your confirmation and a reminder, contact you about your booking, and take or refund a deposit. This is needed to provide the booking you asked for.
We only send you news and offers if you ticked the box to say yes. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Who else sees it
Only the companies that help us run bookings:
- Stripe, for card payments
- our email provider, for booking emails
- our hosting provider
We don't sell your details.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for up to two years, then delete them, unless we need them longer for accounts or a dispute.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you. Contact us at the venue to do this. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
Our booking pages don't use tracking or advertising cookies. Staff logins use one essential cookie. The map on our homepage is provided by Google and may set its own cookies.
